Loved Cage the Elephant the most though! Everyone killed it. His dancing and stage antics are almost as entertaining his singing itself. Fans exitting the venue could be spotted shouting "The house is glass! The show by far exceeded my expectations with Spoon and Beck being the icing on the cake. Anyone on the fence about buying tickets to any future shows needs to make the jump.
Was an awesome experience. Seen them 7 times since 2009. This specific tour was an acoustic one, but they still brought the energy.
When I got there, I worked my way to the front and stood at the barrier just to the right of the stage directly in front of the speakers. It was definitely worth it though! The opening act, Chrome Pony, were pretty good and they warmed the crowd up for the main event. Then Cage the Elephant came onstage.
The crowd immediately began jumping and singing along to Cry Baby, off of their new album. The energetic crowd continued throughout as lead singer Matt Schulz jumped into the crowd and danced his way through fan favourite songs like In One Ear and Spiderhead.

I saw them open for the Black Keys at the Mesa Amphitheater several years ago. They continue to grow their sound into something quite special. If you ever have the chance, Cage the Elephant is very much a worthwhile investment, and one helluva good time!!! Steve August 26th 2019 Very solid show! Beck was also great, and I really enjoyed Spoon. I missed most of spoon but lucky I got to heard their last two songs. I appreciate that they engage the crowd from the first chord until well after the last. Энергичный фальцет, "хриплые гармонии" вокала Мэтью Шульца так частенько пишут о вокалисте, я бы его голос назвала "блеющим" : - но мне импонирует и эффектное соло на фоно под занавес.

Тотальной переделке подвергнуто все подряд! Наиболее смелые шаги предпринял Bombadil, записавший Drive My Car под адский аккомпанемент драм-машины. Почтение и безрассудство в одном флаконе — это Британия, брат!
Вместе с тем, в шоу-бизнесе Cage The Elephant далеко не новички, но еще довольно далеки от звания ветеранов инди. Группа сейчас, как раз находится на пике своей формы. Cage The Elephant release new track ‘House of Glass’
This is the closest we get to their unapologetic raucous sound found on their first two albums. Here we see Shultz getting personal as he expresses his anxiety about fame. He sings about wanting to run and hide instead of being in the spotlight. The guitar riff ripped from a vintage garage rock song, adds a creepy and unsettling atmosphere. Shultz continues to get personal as he works through the pain, frustration, and sadness of his divorce.
This song is one of the more experimental tracks on the album. At a time when many artists are experimenting with completely new unique soundscapes, it is a refreshing reminder that although time passes and trends in music change, there are bands still willing to expand upon the sound that their fans are familiar with.
