As I wrote in my Alder Lake launch article , leading up to the Alder Lake product launch there were some issues with extreme overclocking. This is not uncommon as pretty much every platform requires less or more work to enable extreme overclocking.
One of the issues that popped up was a PLL-related bug that caused the CPU frequency to report much higher frequencies than it was actually running.

Judges are volunteers, typically, with a STEM background, an education background, or are involved parents. A judging queueer will escort teams from the pit area to their judging session at their assigned time. Only ONE coach from the team is allowed to sit in for the judging session. The coach must sit out of view of their team.
Any signaling or coaching assistance given to the team during their judging session may result in a disqualification. Judges will fill out rubrics for each presentation. The robot is programmed to return to either home area at any time.

Unique World Robotics Empowering Students in LEGO Competition Experience the thrill of lego robotics competition. The 2024 FIRST® Championship will be here before we know it! Teams from across the globe will come together in Houston, Texas, USA on April 17-20, 2024, to celebrate the MASTERPIECESM. The FIRST 2023/24 theme is the arts, which is reflected in all of its programs from K-12. The 2023 FLL game is called "Masterpiece." You can learn more about it on the FIRST website. STEM Competitions
The robots are programmed using any language allowing autonomous movement. Many teams opt for a block-based programming environment such as the official EV3 software, the official NXT-G software now outdated , or Robolab. All these are built around Labview. The robots used are Lego Education units. Until 2021, the platform of choice was the Lego Mindstorm EV3. Events[ edit ] Teams in different parts of the world have different times allotted to complete the construction of the robot due to the varying date of qualifying tournaments but must have a minimum of 8 weeks from "Global Challenge Release" the date, usually in August, by which the details of the missions and research project become available to the public. The initial levels of competition are managed by an Affiliate Partner Organization commonly affiliated Universities , who are led by an Affiliate or Operational Partner Representative "The Partner".

Одно дело, когда дети вышли и прочитали стихи о дружбе и взаимовыручке, и совсем другое — когда показали, как они себя ведут за работой. Эксперты лучше смогут понять, действительно ли перед ними команда», — поделился своим мнением Иван Шимов, главный эксперт соревнования по направлению Challenge. During a match, only the robot can move objects from one home area to another.
Teams may not pass anything from one home area to another. When a robot is interrupted completely outside of a home area, it may be returned to either area. Mission requirements must be visible at the end of the match to score unless otherwise stated in the mission.
Coaches are not allowed to speak to the referees. If the team has an issue with a referee ruling, the team captain should make the issue known to the referee BEFORE they sign off on their score sheet. If necessary, the issue can be escalated to the head referee.

Они будут рассказывать о том, как выстраивать процесс подготовки команд, поделятся опытом. The challenge is designed to be solved by kids. Teams can have up to 10 student members. While teams tend to come and go as children enter and then age out of the FLL program, there are a few legacy teams that occasionally have openings for new team members.

FIRST® LEGO® League’s three age-appropriate divisions inspire young people to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics. Print The FIRST Lego League (FLL) Challenge program is aimed at students studying from mid-primary to early high school. FIRST Lego League Explore teams of 3-5 students in grades K-3 work with a parent guide to design and build a team model related to the "Masterpiece" theme.

Then, teams meet at regional tournaments to share their knowledge, compare ideas, and display their robots. Competitions are split into three sections and a robot round. The first session, Core Values, judges how well a team works together and then asks participants to perform a teamwork exercise. During the second session, the Robot Design, teams explain how they designed their robot and demonstrate their programs to the judges.
This exciting event will be hosted at two venues: the George R. The George R. This state-of-the-art facility offers a spacious and modern setting for teams to compete, learn, and connect. The convention center will host the majority of the competition events, including the robot game, project presentations, and the awards ceremony.
During the third session, the Project, students must research a topic related to the current challenge and create an innovative solution. Teams have five minutes to present their ideas, and the judges have another 5 minutes to ask questions. Finally, students run their robots to autonomously complete a set of tasks on the challenge mat. In addition to mentoring these teams, our club also host 6 tournaments for this program two practice tournaments, two qualifying tournaments, and the two Los Angeles Regional Championships.
