Вина из этого сорта получаются не плотными, не тяжелыми, не вопиюще кислотными, поскольку кислотность скрадывается сочностью и танинами. Сорт хорош в выдержанном состоянии. Именно поэтому мы попробуем выдержанные вина, при этом совсем не дорогие. Производитель — винодельня Бодегас Фернандо Кастро, основанная в 1850 году.

Когда его не много, он придает вину изюминку, как в случае с данным вином. Танины округлые, совершенно не кусачие. Во вкусе — вишня и ежевика. Есть дубовые нотки, но их меньше, чем у Viejo.
